Regional Lead - Business Development - Education Loans

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in business development, preferably in NBFCs or financial services.
• Prior experience in education loan domain is highly desirable.
• Work from Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of business development executives focused on education loan products.
• Drive acquisition of new clients (students, institutions, and partners) through effective outreach and relationship building.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand market share in the education loan segment.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and credit teams to ensure smooth loan processing and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor team performance, set targets, and provide coaching to achieve business goals.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels for growth.
• Prepare MIS reports, track KPIs, and present updates to senior management.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Team leading exposure is must.
• Strong understanding of NBFC/Banking education loan products.
• Proven track record in business development, sales, and client relationship management.
• Leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify trends and opportunities.
