Job Description
- As an Application Designer/Developer specializing in Salesforce.com at Birlasoft, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing Contact Center solutions. Your responsibilities will include providing thought leadership for advancing Sun Life's digital transformation strategy, collaborating with internal business partners as a functional consultant, and developing innovative solutions based on a deep understanding of business requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead or contribute to the design and development of Contact Center solutions following internal guidelines and standard processes
- Provide thought leadership on advancing Sun Life's digital transformation and Client first strategy using the Salesforce platform
**Qualifications Required:**
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years of enterprise application design/development experience, with at least 5 years in Salesforce.com
- Foundational understanding of AWS services like AWS Connect, Lambda, S3
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com development environment including Apex, Visual Force, Lightning Components, data migration tools, and web services
- Knowledge of software development fundamentals, Agile project methodology, and web development technologies
- Experience with code management and deployment tools (GitHub, Bit Bucket, JIRA, Jenkins, Force.com Migration Tool, ANT Scripting, etc.)
- Certified Salesforce.com Developer or other relevant certifications are an asset
In addition to the technical qualifications, preferred skills for this role include prior experience in the Contact Center Space, passion for creativity and collaboration, self-motivation, and proven ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and business stakeholders effectively. Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in multi-site teams, and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. You should also possess good leadership, planning, and consulting skills in both business and technical aspects, along with a keen appreciation of the evolving digital technology landscape and its impact on businesses and clients.,
