ELV Technician

Install and configure ELV systems such as:
CCTV Surveillance Systems
Access Control Systems (biometric, RFID, etc.)
Public Address and Voice Evacuation Systems
Structured Cabling for Voice/Data Networks
Read and interpret technical drawings, layout plans, and system schematics.
Pull, route, and terminate low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, etc.).
Mount equipment like cameras, access readers, control panels, and speakers.
Conduct initial testing and ensure correct configuration of installed devices.
Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of installation materials.
Follow all safety protocols and electrical standards during installation.
Document installation processes and report progress to supervisors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/ITI in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in ELV installation projects (preferred).
Familiarity with installation tools and testing instruments (multimeters, crimpers, etc.).
Basic knowledge of IP-based systems and networking (especially for CCTV and access control).
Ability to work independently and read technical drawings.
Physical fitness to work in various environments (ceilings, scaffolding, etc.).
