Senior Network Engineer

Bits Secure IT Infrastructure LLC , is seeking a talented and proactive Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, performance, and security of network systems to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
Design, configure, and deploy robust and scalable network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN).
Collaborate with teams to define networking requirements for projects and systems.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network-related issues promptly.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.
System Upgrades and Optimization:
Perform upgrades and optimize network performance, hardware, and software configurations.
Research and integrate the latest technologies to improve network efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and policies.
Provide regular status updates and technical reports to stakeholders.
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with IT support teams to address escalated network issues.
Provide guidance and training to junior team members or non-technical staff when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration, engineering, or a related role.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and services (DNS, DHCP).
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware.
Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and other security technologies.
Proficiency in network monitoring tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
Certifications (Preferred):
CCNA, CCNP, Aruba Certified or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
