SVP - Private Equity Fund Accounting - Mumbai:

• Experience - 18 - 22 years MAX, 5 - 6 + years recent experience in CORE Private equity Fund Accounting MUST.
• Must be currently handling 50+ people directly as will handle 70 - 85 FTES here.
• Strategically strong along with technical expertise.
• Mature candidates.
• Looking for tenured VP from last past 3 years.
• Reporting to EVP.
• Excellent comm. skills.

SVP - Private Equity Fund Accounting - Pune:

• Experience - 18 - 22 years MAX, 5 - 6 + years recent experience in CORE Private equity Fund Accounting.
• Must be currently handling 20+ people directly as they will handle 40 - 45 FTES here.
• Need a technically strong candidate.
• Mature candidates.
• Looking for tenured VP from last past 3 years.
• Reporting to EVP.

VP - Private Equity Fund Accounting - Pune/ Mumbai/ Hyderabad:

• Experience - 13 - 16 years MAX - 4 + years recent experience in CORE Private equity Fund Accounting MUST.
• Excellent comm. skills.
• Team Management 10+ people directly on papers.

AVP - Private Equity Fund Accounting - Pune/ Mumbai:

• Excellent communication skills.

Experience : (CA - 5 - 8 years max/ NON CA - 9 - 12 years max) - 4 + years recent experience in CORE Private equity Fund Accounting MUST.

Team Management: 7 - 10+ people directly on papers.

Role Overview:

As a senior leader in Private Equity Fund Accounting, you will oversee the end-to-end financial reporting and accounting operations for a diverse portfolio of complex investment vehicles. You will act as the primary point of contact for global clients, managing high-stakes relationships with fund managers, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery. By leading high-performing teams, you will drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide critical financial insights that directly influence investment decision-making and client satisfaction across the firm's global footprint in Pune, Mumbai, or Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the full-cycle accounting process for private equity funds, including capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations to ensure accuracy for investors.
• Lead and mentor large teams of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and operational efficiency to meet stringent client SLAs.
• Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring adherence to US GAAP, IFRS, or relevant local accounting standards.
• Manage complex stakeholder relationships, serving as the escalation point for client queries and audit requirements to maintain long-term service partnerships.
• Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline fund administration workflows and reduce manual intervention in reporting cycles.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends, providing strategic guidance to clients on fund structures and accounting implications to mitigate financial risk.

Required Skillset:

• Demonstrate deep technical expertise in private equity accounting, including complex investment structures, management fee calculations, and carried interest modeling.
• Exhibit strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing and scaling teams in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Communicate complex financial concepts with clarity and precision, effectively influencing senior stakeholders and clients during high-level discussions.
• Possess a professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or CFA, complemented by a solid academic foundation in finance or accounting.
• Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment, utilizing digital collaboration tools to maintain team cohesion and productivity across regional offices.
• Showcase an analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot intricate accounting discrepancies and provide actionable solutions for process optimization.
