The Opportunity

We are hiring a Regional Technical & Marketing Lead - Ruminants & VPH (Veterinary Public Health) responsible for driving strategic marketing plans across IMETA markets. Combining technical expertise and marketing strategy, the role supports business growth aligned with global strategies.

The Technical & Marketing Manager is based in Dubai, UAE and reports to the Business Segment Head - Ruminant & VPH IMETA.

Responsibilities

• Integrate technical and marketing excellence ensuring strong product positioning, lifecycle management, and launch readiness.
• Drive technical excellence by delivering scientific expertise, strengthening product value propositions, and building field team capabilities.
• Support growth through key accounts, tenders, and strategic initiatives.
• Align cross-functional teams to ensure aligned planning, product readiness, and seamless execution of regional priorities.
• Build partnerships with authorities, key accounts and partners, represent Boehringer Ingelheim in scientific forums, and support long-term positioning as a trusted partner.
• Contribute to business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reviews, while providing strategic input to the regional roadmap and identifying corrective actions.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
• 2 – 3 yrs technical manager or specialist experience specifically in Ruminants
• Min. 5 years field work experience in the Animal Health industry
• Prior experience as a veterinarian on the field or on a farm is an advantage

• Expertise in developing and executing impactful marketing strategies
• Proficiency in research and data analytics
• Ability to communicate scientific data effectively
• Excellent analytical & strategic thinking
