Product Manager (UX)

• BookMyShow (BMS) is Indias biggest entertainment company. We help users get access to
• movies and entertainment and have millions of users visiting us every day. We are looking for a
• talented and driven UX Product Manager to join us and shape how our users experience BMS
• at every touchpoint.
• As the UX PM, you will own how the app interacts with customers, from discovery and booking
• to notifications, payments, post-booking communication and support. You will understand
• where users get stuck, confused or frustrated, and prioritise fixing the problems. You will show
• a high degree of ownership in making every interaction clear and consistent, working closely
• with design, research, technology and business teams to roll out improvements across the app.

Your Profile

• Have 6+ years of overall experience, preferably including 2 years as a PM on consumer-facing
• apps.
• Be customer obsessed you should be constantly looking for friction in the user journey and
• fixing it at the root.
• Have a strong eye for interaction design, information hierarchy and microcopy, and be
• comfortable working hands-on with designers in Figma.
• Be data-driven you should use funnels, session recordings, A/B tests and user research
• together to make experience decisions.
• Be able to build structure out of ambiguity and turn qualitative feedback into clear problem
• statements.
• Have great communication skills you should be able to explain an experience problem crisply
• to any stakeholder and drive it to closure.

Your Checklist

• Plan the experience strategy and roadmap for how the app communicates with and guides
• users
• Define and track key UX metrics
• Audit user journeys end to end, including empty states, error states, nudges, notifications and
• in-app messaging
• Benchmark the experience against competitors and best-in-class consumer apps
• Run user research, usability tests and A/B experiments to validate changes
• Groom the product pipeline and prioritise experience improvements alongside feature work
• Plan and coordinate with UX, design, content, technology, CX and business stakeholders to
• drive key outcomes
