Taxation Associate - Direct Tax

What role you will play in team: You will be a crucial member of our direct tax team, supporting senior professionals in handling various tax compliance and advisory projects for a diverse portfolio of clients.

What you will do: You will assist in preparing tax computations, research relevant tax laws and regulations, and support client communication related to tax matters.

Key responsibility:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and corporations.
• Research and interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
• Assist in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
• Maintain client files and documentation according to internal standards.
• 
  Support in the preparation of tax planning strategies for clients.
• Contribute to the development of tax-related presentations and memos.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Chartered Accountancy (CA) or equivalent qualifications.
• 0-1 year of experience in direct taxation.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, particularly income tax.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
