Business Analyst- Finance

As a
Business Analyst in our Finance team, you will work with your stakeholders to design, develop, deploy and maintain business intelligence solutions including data modelling. The data driven analysis tools will be used to support decision making in the organisation.

You will be required to develop tailored solutions inclusive of automated reports, historical analysis and trend forecasts. Your focus will be to automate business processes to reduce manual data manipulations and transactions.

Your expertise in ETL (extract, transform and load) models and data flows with Alteryx or other software will help to elevate the finance team’s understanding and appreciation of data to enable effective reporting. The models that you develop will enhance the quality and speed of data analysis.

This position is a fantastic opportunity to develop high-level models and analysis to make a positive impact within the finance team and help improve data integrity and display clear improvement areas.

This role can be based at our Coimbatore site, and we will consider applicants in Chennai/Bangalore/other cities for remote working or hybrid opportunities.

Key Selection Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or IT


• Minimum 5 years’ relevant finance or accounting experience, manufacturing or mining industry preferred


• Experience with multiple computer systems, including MS Office;


• Ability to analyse financial statements and prepare financial ratios.


• Proven experience in reporting, business intelligence and data analysis


• Alteryx Designer (optional)


• PowerBi Development stack (Power Query, DAX, Master Data Services)


• Basic programming skills for data analysis (Python and/or R)


• Advanced Microsoft office skills
