Creative Director

Role Description As a Creative Strategist at Brands Jar, you will work full time on-site at the Pune office, collaborating closely with creative, design, and marketing teams. You will develop and refine brand and campaign strategies, translate client objectives into clear creative briefs, and ensure that all concepts align with brand positioning and business goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting market and audience research, identifying insights, and shaping strategic frameworks for digital and offline touchpoints. You will guide creative direction across branding, social media, performance marketing, and web projects, participate in client meetings and presentations, and help evaluate campaign performance to inform future strategies.

What youll do

• Strategise for every brand we work with, from market positioning down to design direction, branding, packaging, web, production, content ideas etc etc
• Sit with account managers and build content calendars that dont look like anyone elses
• Come up with the campaign the one that gets copied for the next six months
• Spot trends before theyre trends; start a few yourself
• Work pitches with the founders and help win the room
• Push work from good to unignorable if it can go viral, make it

Who fits

• Enough years in strategy, creative or social or a body of work that argues louder than a CV
• You think in ideas, not decks; culture, not just data (but you can read data)
• Out-of-the-box isnt a buzzword you use; its the only way you know how to work
• Opinionated, and able to defend it in a room full of pushback
• Based in Pune (or moving) we work from the office
