Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Security Specialist to enhance our security posture and support daily security operations. This role involves leading security change management, supporting M&A activities, strengthening security controls, and managing endpoint detection & response (EDR) and email security solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in security administration and operational security tasks.
Responsibilities
Key Activities:
- Change Management & M&A Security: Assess security risks in IT changes and M&A activities, ensuring seamless security integration.
- Security Hardening: Implement and maintain security baselines across systems, applications, and networks.
- Endpoint & Email Security: Manage and optimize EDR and email security solutions to detect and prevent threats.
- Security Administration: Oversee user access, security policies, and daily security operations.
- Incident Response & Monitoring: Support security investigations, log analysis, and proactive threat mitigation.
- Third Party Vendor Assessments: Perform vendor and solutions technical security assessments.
- Hands-on experience with reputable EDR solutions (ForitEDR, Windows Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike etc.)
- Expert in KQL and Lucene query language.
- Strong threat hunting, incident investigation, and forensic analysis skills.
- Familiarity with SIEM solutions, EDR logs, and malware analysis tools.
- Hands-on expertise in email security solutions.
- Proven record of supporting M&A activities and IT security integrations.
- Experience in system hardening and security best practices for Windows environments.
- Good understanding of Windows security, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint protection.
