Senior Devops Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of expertise to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure (preferably in GCP, with experience in AWS and Azure as well), setting up CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized environments, and ensuring robust system performance and security

Role & responsibilities

• Strong experience in architecting, deploying, and managing scalable, highly available, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions in GCP (preferred), AWS, and Azure.
•  Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Solid hands-on experience in Linux system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Strong understanding of server-level operations, process management, and file systems in Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

• Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in Docker for containerization and experienced in managing containerized environments.
• Exposure to Kubernetes or other orchestration tools to ensure application scalability, high availability, and reliability.
• Ability to set up monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring) for proactive issue detection.
• Experience with centralized logging solutions (e.g., ELK Stack, Loki, Cloud Logging) to facilitate efficient troubleshooting.
• Basic experience managing on-premises servers and understanding networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPN).
• Ability to work in hybrid environments integrating cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Implementation of cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, VPC security, encryption, and access control.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO, GDPR, SOC2, and applying security frameworks in deployments.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Technical leadership experience, mentoring junior team members and driving DevOps culture and best practices within the team.
