We are looking for Marketing Manager with good experience in Business Development, Valves sales, Actuators, Post sales support activities. This Opportunity for a reputed MNC based at Chennai Location.
Job Overview:
Responsible for the performance of the sales and marketing activities of South region
Key Responsibilities:
CENTRAL
- Core Responsibilities which consume a significant amount of the Job Incumbents time
- Generate and handle enquiries for Actuator/Valves Products, Scrutinize Enquiry / tender details.
- Offering Techno Commercial solutions to customer, preparation of proposals, pricing and negotiation, coordinate with engineering, Customer visits
- To ensure contractual clarity for post order activities, Customer Service Technical briefing, Coordinate Customer Training Programs, Coordinate Service requirements
- Sales Pricing and Negotiation, ISO related formalities
- Apart from the above activity, Registration of Purchase Order received into the Order Processing System / upload the Purchase Order received into the Comapany's Order Portal.
- Developing and sustaining the healthy business customer relationship (CRM) by ensuing maximum customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & quality norm.
- Handling customer centric operations & ensuring customer satisfaction by timely & prompt technical support.
Key accounts relationship management by:
- Identifying and developing relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations for business development. Interact with business and technology decision makers for securing business.
- Generating business through high share of key accounts.
- Identifying and networking with prospective clients to generate business from the new and existing accounts and achieving increased sales growth thus increasing profitability.
- Continual market assessment and feedback to management.
- Conducting technical presentations to the prospective client.
- Introducing new customers and influencing customers to consider our products by providing them excellent technical support.
- Conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends & competitor moves to achieve market share metrics.
- Identifying prospective clients and formulating new marketing strategies for generating business to achieve increased sales growth thus catalyzing profitability.
- Identifying the forthcoming new projects in power, water, cement, refinery, petrochemical industries and meeting project consultants for promoting our products.
- Contribute to overall market forecast and industry sector review periodically
- Contribute towards devising sales and marketing strategy and ensure procedures as per ISO 9001 are followed.
PERIPHERAL
Responsibilities which are support activities and require less amount of the Job Incumbents time
- Take part in customer education / training programs.
- Interact with customers on any issue that requires immediate clarification/resolution.
- Contribute to Technical publications

- Contribute for existing as well as new product design reviews.
- Recruitment, Motivation, Identifying training needs of the team and co-ordination for the training.
- Carrying out performance appraisals as per the companys performance evaluation policies and managing the career growth of the team members within the company.
- Monitor the post sales activities like co-ordination with our service team & customers, service reminders, handling customer grievances and providing technical back up for achieving delivery & service quality norms as well as superior customer service.
- Evaluate changing/evolving customer needs for product improvement
- Understanding the customer requirements, coordinating with Engineering departments to communicate the market requirements and develop new products meeting their demands..
- Execute specific projects assigned by management from time to time
- Participation in industry seminars, exhibitions and meets
- Special projects as assigned by the management from time to time.
- Selection / sizing of actuators for weatherproof, explosion proof , ATEX and SIL actuators.
Educational qualification (Knowledge and Skill):
B.E Mechanical/E&C/EEEE. Additional Qualification of Post Graduation
will be an added advantage.
Work Experience: Having over 10 years of experience in the field of Valves, Electric actuators and gear boxes.
