Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Vision: - Develop a clear and compelling product vision for IoT product based on market research, industry trends, and customer insights.
- Define the product strategy and roadmap, considering both short-term and long-term goals.
- Identify target market segments, customer needs, and use cases for IoT products/services.
- Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements.
- Analyze market data and customer feedback to drive product improvements and identify new opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements related to IoT devices.
- Product Development and Lifecycle Management: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to develop IoT devices from concept to launch.
- Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on customer needs and market demands.
- Manage the product development lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Technical Know-how: - Sound understanding of audio/voice-based analytics, technologies such as Bluetooth, Wifi, connectivity and cloud native.
- Documenting product requirements and scheduling requirement reviews with internal stakeholders.
- Cooperation with the development team: explaining features, answering questions, "translating" the business requirements into "developer language", giving feedback on the development
- Decisions regarding technical implementation together with the architect and SMEs (Subject Matter Experts)
- Roadmap and Release Planning: - Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that aligns with the overall business strategy and product vision.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
- Coordinate with engineering and development teams to plan product releases and ensure smooth product launches.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: - Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to gather feedback, understand customer requirements, and address product-related issues.
- Work with the marketing team to develop effective product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Support the sales team in product training, competitive analysis, and customer presentations.
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and adoption of IoT solutions.
- Monitor product performance, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to drive product improvements and optimizations.
- Conduct post-launch reviews and gather feedback from customers to guide future product iterations.
