Business Finance Manager

Responsibilities:-

• As part of the larger team, partner with a business / functional unit to ensure robust financial planning is in place and track performance against the plan
• Assemble and summarize data to structure reports and financial models for decision making; Provide meaningful analyses and insights, and participate in various business discussions
• Define and track financial KPIs and build driver based financial models. Convert business plans or initiatives into financial figures and plans
• Define and prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for specific line items or overall P&L and communicates in a logical and easy to follow manner
  
• Assist senior members of the team in specific deep dives or new initiatives as per business needs
• Understand history of data procurement, location, methods, issues and actions taken
• Improve current methods used in data gathering, automate reports and models to improve overall efficiency of the team
• Ensure control and compliance, and overall financial discipline for your business / functional unit
• Work with counterparts in other groups such as procurement, systems, accounting etc. to establish appropriate processes or partner as required with them for needs of business teams.

Requirements:-

• MBA / CA professional with 1 - 4 years of experience in finance, preferably in business partnership focused roles

• Familiarity / experience in driver based forecasting models and basic understanding of financial concepts
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present insights from data sets
• Ability to present / articulate complex topics in elegant and simple ways
• Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders effectively
• Good knowledge of Excel; knowledge of other tools such as VBA, Macros, Tableau, SQL would be helpful but not a requirement
• Willingness to dig deep and comfort with abstract projects
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
