Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Logistics Manager located in abroad. The Senior Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and optimization of logistics and supply chain operations. Key responsibilities include managing the transportation and storage of goods, analyzing and solving logistical challenges, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role also involves leading and mentoring the logistics team to align with the organizations objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, and transportation planning.
- Expertise in team leadership, coordination with suppliers/vendors, and mentoring junior staff members.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, process improvement, and strategic planning related to logistics and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards within the logistics industry.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and data analytics tools to optimize operations.
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
