Job Description
- The successful candidate for this role will possess a strong background in establishing, stabilizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes utilizing MOM and Industry 4.0 concepts to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in production shopfloor. The industry focus will primarily be Automotive / EV, including Battery Pack Assembly, as well as Gigafactory (Cell Manufacturing). The ideal candidate should have an overall experience ranging from 7-13 years.
Key responsibilities will include Smart Plant Functional Expertise such as MES capability assessment, formulation of functional architecture & requirements, and MES platform evaluation based on fitment across strategic, financial, and functional pillars. Knowledge of MES tools like Siemens, NEXEED, PTC, or Dassault would be advantageous. The candidate will be expected to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost reduction, and consult clients on automation, IoT, and data analytics in the manufacturing space. Familiarity with IOT platforms like Insights Hub, Azure, AWS, etc., would also be beneficial. Additionally, the candidate will utilize data analytics to extract insights from production data, make data-driven decisions, and manage performance indicators effectively.
Consulting skills are crucial for this role, including experience in creating and leading client proposals, demonstrating deep industry knowledge and innovation in manufacturing through POVs and assets, and having a strong business development appetite while identifying growth opportunities in the market. Strong project management abilities, effective communication, and interpersonal skills are also required.

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in production management, business management, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. An MBA from tier-1 institutes is not mandatory but would be advantageous. Proven experience with Battery or EV OEM or consulting industry in the Smart Plant vertical is highly desirable for this role.,
