Area Legal Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Handle all non-litigation legal matters including drafting, vetting, and negotiating contracts and agreements for NBFC operations.
  
• Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, applicable laws, and internal policies; support regulatory filings and audits.
  
• 
  Provide legal advisory to business and operations teams on products, lending, partnerships, and risk mitigation.
  
• Coordinate with external counsels, manage legal MIS, and support management with timely legal inputs.

• Qualified Law graduate with 48 years of relevant non-litigation experience, preferably in NBFC/financial services.
  
• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, lending documentation, contracts, and compliance frameworks.
  
• Proven ability to independently manage legal matters and work closely with cross-functional teams.
  
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with a proactive, business-oriented approach.
