Role Description The Agency Manager role at Care Insurance in Kolkata is a full-time, on-site position responsible for leading and developing a team of agency partners to drive sales and business growth. The Agency Manager will recruit, train, and mentor agents, set performance goals, and monitor achievement against targets. This role involves planning and executing local sales strategies, building relationships with customers, and promoting Care Insurances products in the assigned territory. The Agency Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure policy issuance, customer servicing, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while consistently identifying opportunities to expand the agency network and improve sales effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, including experience in achieving or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
• Team leadership and people management capabilities, with experience in recruiting, mentoring, and motivating agents or sales teams.
• Customer relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and building long-term client relationships.
• Planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to develop local market strategies and address operational challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present products clearly and handle negotiations.
• Understanding of insurance or financial services products and regulatory requirements; prior experience in health or general insurance is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with digital tools and CRM or sales management systems to track performance and manage pipelines.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or sales are beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, travel within the assigned region as needed, and adapt to a dynamic, target-oriented environment.
