Role Description The Agency Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for leading and growing the agency sales channel for Care Health Insurance. The role involves recruiting, training, and mentoring insurance advisors and agents, setting sales targets, and monitoring performance to ensure consistent business growth. The Agency Manager will drive local marketing and outreach initiatives, develop relationships within the community, and promote Care Health Insurance products to individual and corporate customers. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing sales strategies, conducting regular review meetings with the agency team, providing product and process updates, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company guidelines. The role also includes coordinating with internal stakeholders for support on operations, claims, and customer service, while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and ethical business conduct.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, including experience in agency or channel management and achieving revenue targets.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams, with proven experience in people management and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for interacting with advisors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Good understanding of insurance or financial services products; experience in health insurance or general insurance is an advantage.
• Strong planning, organizational, and analytical abilities to manage multiple activities and track sales metrics effectively.
• Comfort with using basic digital tools and CRM or sales tracking systems to manage leads, reports, and documentation.
• Bachelors degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is beneficial.
• Prior experience in a similar on-site managerial role in Lucknow or nearby regions, with knowledge of the local market.
• Commitment to ethical selling practices, customer-centric service, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
