Role Description The Agency Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cuttack, responsible for driving business growth through the agency channel. In this position, the individual will recruit, train, and mentor agency partners and advisors, helping them achieve sales targets for Care Health Insurance products across retail and group segments. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, conducting regular meetings and field visits, and ensuring adherence to company processes and regulatory guidelines. The role also involves building strong relationships with customers, addressing their insurance needs, and promoting Care Health Insurances value proposition in the local market. Collaboration with internal teams for marketing support, product knowledge, and customer service resolution is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in agency sales, distribution management, or field sales within insurance or financial services.
• Strong skills in business development, territory management, and achievement of sales targets.
• Ability to recruit, train, coach, and motivate agency partners or advisors to drive performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of health insurance products, market dynamics, and basic regulatory requirements.
• Comfortable working on-site in Cuttack, with willingness to conduct regular field visits and client meetings.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for reporting, tracking sales activities, and managing customer information.
• Bachelors degree in any discipline; a specialization in business, commerce, or insurance is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in managing a team or agency network and exposure to the health insurance segment is highly beneficial.
