Taxation Specialist - VAT & Sales Tax

What role you will play in team: You will be a key member of our tax team, focusing on sales and VAT compliance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.

Key responsibility:

• Preparation and filing of sales tax returns (State-level).
• Ensuring compliance with state-specific sales tax regulations.
• Reconciliation of sales tax accounts and identifying discrepancies.
• Advising on sales tax implications of business transactions.
• Analyzing sales tax data and identifying potential areas of improvement.
• Staying abreast of changes in sales tax laws and regulations.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in sales tax/VAT.
• In-depth understanding of state-level sales tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant tax software.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
