Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Automation QA Engineers with 4–7 years of experience in software testing and hands-on automation using Selenium or Playwright. Candidates should have strong programming skills, experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks, and the ability to contribute effectively as SDETs. Selected candidates will be deployed to support project requirements and fulfil open positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright.
• Develop and enhance scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient code using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot automation failures, and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to improve product quality.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and test strategy discussions.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices where required.

Must-Have Skills

• 4–7 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, exception handling, and debugging.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with test case design, defect management, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot issues and deliver reliable automation solutions.

Good-to-Have Skills

• API automation experience using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with cross-browser testing and parallel test execution.
• Exposure to Docker, cloud-based testing platforms, or containerized environments.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
• Experience with test reporting, logging, and automation execution dashboards.
• Mentoring experience and the ability to guide junior team members.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Location Requirement

• This requisition is strictly location-specific to Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
• Candidates should be based in Bhopal or willing to work from Bhopal as per project requirements.
