JOB TITLE: Senior Consultant, Structured Data Services

REPORTS TO: Delivery, Data Analyst Manager

Summary

The Senior Consultant collects and analyses data to identify trends and provides management with valuable information that they can use to improve operational and businesses practices. Their main duties include identifying, gathering, analyzing data, and making their insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables, and reports.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for working on the bulk and/or programmatic extractions in Excel majorly and sometimes in other file types.
• Work on notification delivery and notification Quality Control (QC) checks process.
• Work on de-duplication exercise based on various parameters using formulae or any software’s/tools
• Perform data cleansing or formatting on the data extracted.
• Uses data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns.
• Handles any issues or nuisances that are seen by the team and provides corrective actions or brings them to the manager for inputs.
• Coordinates the work allotted with other team members and provides updates to the manager.
• Organizes and transforms information into comprehensible structures.
• Performs statistical analysis of data.
• Prepares reports and presents these to management or clients.
• Identifies and recommends new ways for workflow efficiencies by streamlining business processes.
• Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data.
• Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
• Serves as a mentor to the Data Analyst team.
• Other duties as assigned.

• VBA coding and power query skill sets are preferred.

Job Requirements

• 6-7 years experience as a Data Analyst or in similar profiles.

• Technical expertise in handling large data sets on excels using advanced formulae.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks) will be added advantage
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
• College Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics, preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with Aretes salary and benefit policy.
