Job Title: Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst

Location: Head Office, Varanasi, India

Salary Package: Up to ? 7 LPA ( Negotiable )

Job Overview:

The SOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats and incidents that affect the organizations information systems and assets. The SOC Analyst works under the direction of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and collaborates with other security teams, IT teams, and business units to ensure the security and resilience of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performing real-time threat detection and analysis using various security tools and platforms.
• Investigating and escalating security incidents and events according to established procedures and protocols.
• Conducting incident response activities such as containment, eradication, recovery, and lessons learned.
• Providing timely and accurate reporting and communication to relevant stakeholders and management.
• Developing and maintaining security documentation, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conducting security research and staying abreast of current threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
• Participating in security awareness and education initiatives.
• Supporting security audits, assessments, and compliance activities.
• Task which will be provided by CISO or supervisors.
• Monitoring and downloading reports on database activity monitor.
• Troubleshooting any issues that arise in IBMSIEM and IBM DAM.
• Contacting IBM Support for any issues related to SIEM and DAM.
• Managing a team of IT professionals and overseeing the delivery of IT projects within budget and timeline.
• Identifying and evaluating new technologies and trends that can enhance IT capabilities and performance.
• Developing and executing IT strategies and roadmaps that support long-term vision and objectives.
• Collaborating with senior management and other stakeholders to understand IT needs and expectations.
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external partners, vendors, and service providers.
• Ensuring compliance with IT policies, standards, and best practices.
• Regular follow-up with risk holders to resolve the issue.
• Preparing reports for SOC, MLRC, and ITSC.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Manage security incident response and disaster recovery planning.
• Work with third-party vendors and auditors for security assessments and compliance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as RBI cybersecurity guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria:

???? Education: Bachelors/Masters in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field.

???? Experience: 2-5 years in SOC operations, cybersecurity, threat analysis, or incident response.

???? Preferred: Experience with IBM SIEM, IBM DAM, risk assessments, regulatory compliance (RBI cybersecurity guidelines), and security audits.
