Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Utilize SQL and Excel to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Interpret findings to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Report Generation: Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards using Excel and other reporting tools. Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key findings and trends.
  • Data Visualization: Create visually appealing charts, graphs, and presentations to effectively communicate data-driven insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data handling.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business teams, product managers, and marketing teams, to understand data requirements and provide analytical support. Work closely with teams to identify key metrics and performance indicators for data analysis.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines). Additional certifications or relevant coursework in data analysis is a plus.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on SQL and Excel. Experience in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in SQL: Strong command over SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Ability to write complex queries, optimize queries for performance, and work with relational databases.
  • Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization. Familiarity with macros and VBA programming is a plus.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex data challenges. Ability to dissect data sets, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
