CGI - Technical Delivery Manager

Role Overview:
We are looking for a strong Technical Delivery Manager to lead team deliverables, drive end-to-end delivery, and ensure technical excellence across our platforms. This role demands hands-on technical credibility, strong execution discipline, and deep expertise in Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Delivery Ownership:
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives, from planning to production release.
- Ensure clear task breakdown, prioritization, and rigorous follow-up to meet timelines.
- Track progress, identify risks proactively, and ensure timely resolution.
- Drive accountability within the team to ensure predictable and high-quality delivery.
- Work closely with Senior Delivery leaders, PO, Scrum master etc.
2. Technical Leadership & Governance:

- Actively challenge teams on technical design, architecture, and implementation decisions.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Guide teams in adopting modern engineering practices and tools.
3. Azure Platform Expertise:
- Provide strong leadership in designing and building solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Ensure optimal use of Azure services (compute, data, AI, integration, DevOps).
- Drive cloud-native architecture, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Support teams in troubleshooting and optimizing Azure-based deployments.
4. Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, data, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
- Communicate status, risks, and decisions effectively to leadership.
- Ensure alignment between engineering execution and business priorities.
Skill Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Tech Delivery roles.
- Good experience on Azure cloud.
- Experience in managing the delivery of a high performing platform teams.
- Ability to challenge team decisions on architecture, design, and implementation.
- Proven capability in end-to-end delivery ownership.
- Strong discipline in: Task tracking, Follow-ups, Risk identification and mitigation.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery models.
- Ability to ensure: On-time delivery, Quality outcomes, Predictable execution.
- Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Clear and concise reporting of progress, risks, and decisions.
- Strong ownership mindset (drives things to closure with follow-through).
