Role: Data Analyst II

You will be responsible for supporting Data Analytics Team by delivering key performance metrics, as well as clearly communicating conclusions drawn from various sets of data for the business. A great opportunity for analysing a robust Content Operations data underlying multiple Chegg products including Study, Textbook Solutions, Q n A.
You will be collaborating across function teams including Product Managers, Managers to deliver insights for better decision making.
Responsibilities

• Responsible to create optimized queries and pull details from various databases. (SQL, NoSQL)
• Develop forecasts and make predictions for different KPIs parameters which can lead to successful business run.
• Should be responsible to dig into complex datasets and schemas for different products and process changes.
• Responsible to take lead on various projects
• Responsible to perform research work for business insights
• Observe useful/meaningful patterns in the data, and summarize the takeaways
• Accountable for providing good summaries, useful insights for better business decisions
• Ability to handle/resolve teams issue, support other team members.
• Perform Top level Adhoc analysis and presenting results for better decision making
• Responsible for creating high level monitoring reports and dashboards within defined TATs
• Pull details from nested data formats/Extracts and data available in. (JSON, Spectrum)
• Must be responsible enough to handle exceptions and errors during data pulls.
• 
  Responsible to create configurable data models in excel, python or R
• Able to perform/run statistical tests on the data, sample analysis
  

Requirements

• BS/MS in Preferred fields: Science, Math, Engineering
• 2+ years of experience.
• Excellent SQL query writing skills, ability to optimize queries, build nested queries
• Able to write codes in Python or R for data analysis and insights (should able to use pandas, numpy)
• Ability to perform descriptive and Inferential analysis
• Should able to use any visualization or reporting tool: SSRS, Tableau, Domo, Power BI etc.
• Strong Analytical skills can present summaries with Statistical findings.
• Excellent in Data mining, cleansing and munging
• Aware about general concepts of Machine Learning
• Ability to do predictive analysis
• Should be aware of SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Redshift, Databricks, Alation, API, Connectors
• Can manage ETL data movements through Scripts from S3 and different databases.
• Advance excel (VBA) + PowerPoint
• Able to build configurable models in excel, python or R
• Scripting/programming knowledge is must (Concepts of programming)
