Job Description

Mission Statement
Member of the Payroll team, will be reporting to the Team Lead, and will be a part of Common Shared Services (CSS), HR Delivery team based in Bangalore, handling service processes related to India Payroll for an assigned business unit or geography.
Your Responsibilities
  • Payroll includes work focused on designing and/or ensuring compliance with some/all of the following payroll processes including:
  • Calculating gross and net pay amounts (e.g., salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, payroll liabilities, etc.).
  • Payroll-specific records maintenance (changes in wage/salary rates; pension, insurance, mandatory deductions; new hires, terminations, leave of absence, etc.).
  • Reconciliation of payroll records (e.g., payments, deductions, general ledger entries for wages). Payroll data verification and administration.
  • Monitor and manage payroll legislation compliance. Answering questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters. May maintain records on vacation, sick leave, etc. An Entry Professional (P1) applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.
  • May require the following proficiency: Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.

Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree (any stream).
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in India Payroll related and statutory laws like PF, ESI and Income tax law from a reputed organization.

  • Knowledge of SAP HR Module.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in teams, within deadlines and be process oriented.
  • Attention to details.
  • Showcase ownership behavior.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
