Job Description
- Role Overview:
At Citco, you will play a crucial role in the Fund Administration team by maintaining books and records, reviewing financial statements, supervising junior staff, and acting as a primary contact with on-shore stakeholders. You will also assist in coordinating team deliverables, participating in projects, and identifying and escalating any issues affecting service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain books and records
- Review and/or prepare financial statements and associated reports
- Review and/or calculate carried interest/performance/incentive fees
- Supervise junior staff, review and sign off on work performed
- Act as a primary day-to-day contact with on-shore stakeholders
- Monitor Senior/Fund Accountants progression and identify areas for training and development
- Assist Senior Vice President in coordinating team deliverables
- Participate in projects related to business expansion and evolution
- Identify and escalate any material issues affecting service delivery to the Assistant Vice President
- Perform any other functions required as part of the business of the Company
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Real Estate, Asset Management, or Fund Administration
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP is an added advantage
- Experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements
- Established knowledge in relation to accounting and consolidations under IFRS is an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written)

- Motivated, bright, and diligent individual with a drive to meet deadlines
- Strong team player with the ability to manage individual responsibilities
- Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 2 years
- Strong business acumen
- Good client/business relationship management skills
- Sound judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- User experience with Yardi accounting system(s) is preferable
