Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Manual Testing professionals with strong functional testing experience in SAP FICO. The ideal candidate should have exposure to Banking and/or Insurance domains and should be comfortable working with business, functional, and technical teams to validate enterprise finance and accounting processes.

The role involves understanding business requirements, preparing test scenarios, executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality delivery across SAP FICO and related enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform manual testing for SAP FICO modules and related enterprise applications.
• Validate finance and accounting processes, including:
• Cost Center Accounting
  
• Profit Center Accounting
• General Ledger-related workflows
• Financial business processes
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and UAT support testing.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects through closure.
• Collaborate with business analysts, SAP functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in defect triage, test execution reporting, and quality assurance activities.
• Ensure testing deliverables are aligned with project timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.

Skills Required

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP FICO.
• Experience in:
• Profit Center Accounting
• Cost Center Accounting
• Finance and accounting business processes
• Prior project experience in Banking domain and/or Insurance domain.
• Strong knowledge of:
• SDLC
• STLC
• Testing methodologies
• Defect lifecycle
• Experience in preparing:
• Test scenarios
• Test cases
• Test data

• Exposure to Agile delivery environments.
• Experience supporting UAT and business validation activities.
• Knowledge of regulatory or compliance-driven testing in Banking / Insurance projects.
• Basic understanding of automation testing will be an added advantage.
