About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cognigy.AI Developer to join our

conversational AI engineering team in Pune. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-

on experience in designing, building, and deploying Cognigy-based conversational solutions.

You will play a critical role in creating AI-driven virtual assistants and automating

enterprise communication workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement advanced Cognigy.AI flows to support conversational use cases

- Build scalable and reusable NLU/NLP-driven chatbots and voicebots using Cognigy

- Integrate Cognigy with external systems (CRM, ERP, databases, REST/SOAP APIs)

- Define and manage Intents, Entities, and Custom Nodes for high-quality user experiences

- Collaborate with UX, QA, and Product teams to define and refine bot behavior and

conversations

- Work on multilingual and omnichannel deployments (Web, WhatsApp, IVR, etc.)

- Ensure bot performance, analytics tracking, fallback handling, and proactive messaging

- Document flows, configurations, and technical components for maintainability

- Maintain strong governance across environments (Dev, UAT, Prod)

Required Skills & Experience

- 36 years of total IT experience, with 2+ years in Cognigy.AI development

- Strong understanding of NLU, NLP, and conversational design principles

- Experience working with Cognigy.AI components like Flow Nodes, Extensions, and

CognigyScript

- Proficient in JavaScript and using Cognigys scripting layer

- Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST, JSON, Webhooks)

- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD processes

and scalability

- Exposure to RPA tools (e.g., UiPath) or AI platforms is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Cognigy.AI Certification (Developer / Specialist) is a plus

- Experience with cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP)

- Working knowledge of dialogue analytics tools, sentiment analysis, or Google DialogFlow

is advantageous
