Job Description
The HR & Recruitment Officer plays a pivotal role in the workforce management and talent acquisition strategies of an organization. This position requires an individual who is dedicated to enhancing an organizations human resources through well-planned recruitment initiatives and proficient HR management. The HR & Recruitment Officer is responsible for identifying candidates who not only meet job qualifications but also align with the organizations culture and goals. The officer works closely with department heads to anticipate and fulfill staffing requirements while fostering a productive and supportive work environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Screen resumes and conduct interviews to shortlist suitable applicants.
- Coordinate with department managers to identify and anticipate hiring needs.
- Ensure all recruitment efforts comply with legal and organizational policies.
- Manage the hiring process, including reference checks and offer negotiations.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate profiles.
- Develop and update job descriptions in coordination with department heads.
- Participate in career fairs and networking events to promote the organization.
- Provide guidance and support in employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback for organizational improvements.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning trends to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment and HR management roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR recruitment processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using HR software and recruitment tools effectively.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
