Software Tester (QA)

The role of a Software Tester (QA) involves performing critical evaluations of software applications to ensure their functionality aligns with business goals and user expectations. A Software Tester is responsible for executing test plans, identifying bugs, and mitigating risks before software products reach the end user. Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, and performance tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and develop test strategies.
• Identify, log, and thoroughly document bug issues via the chosen tracking system.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved by developers.
  
• Monitor debugging processes results and adjust testing strategy accordingly.
• Review the testing processes and suggest improvements for efficiency gains.
• Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies in software quality assurance.
• Communicate complex technical issues and solutions in an understandable manner.
• Ensure deliverables adhere to company and project quality standards consistently.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field preferred.

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
