As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless movement of goods across our supply chain, managing freight operations, optimizing transport networks, and overseeing express distribution services. Your responsibilities will include coordinating shipments, negotiating carrier contracts, monitoring delivery performance, and maintaining accurate freight records, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing data-driven insights to improve delivery times, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. In this dynamic environment, your ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently will be essential for driving operational excellence and supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Requirements

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Coordinate domestic and international freight movements across multiple carriers.
• Plan and optimize transportation routes to maximize efficiency and reduce transit times.
• Negotiate freight rates and contract terms with trucking, rail, and courier partners.
• Monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and ensure on-time delivery for express consignments.
• Maintain detailed documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and delivery confirmations.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Liaise with procurement and production teams to align logistics plans with demand forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental guidelines across all transport activities.
• Manage inventory levels at warehouses and distribution centers to support timely pickups.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and service quality.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁

• 2+ years of experience in freight management or logistics coordination.
• Strong knowledge of transport networks, route planning, and logistics software.
• Proven track record in negotiating carrier contracts and optimizing freight costs.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and logistics platforms such as SAP WMS or Oracle.
• Familiarity with customs documentation and international shipping regulations.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and drive improvements.
• Effective communication skills to work with carriers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
• Prior experience in managing express distribution and meeting tight delivery windows.
