As a Procurement professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of hardware, software, real estate, staffing, and facility resources that drive the organization’s operational excellence. Leveraging over a decade of experience, you will manage end-to-end procurement processes, negotiate with vendors, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Chennai and beyond. Your deep understanding of market dynamics, regulatory compliance, and technology trends will enable you to make strategic sourcing decisions that align with business objectives. You will also spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement workflows and enhance value delivery to the organization.

Requirements

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for hardware, software, and facility-related procurements.
• Negotiate contracts, agreements, and service level agreements with vendors and suppliers.
• Conduct market analysis and supplier performance evaluations to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Oversee the procurement lifecycle from requisition to payment, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Manage real estate acquisition and lease negotiations, including site selection and facility expansion projects.
• Lead talent acquisition and staffing procurements, coordinating with HR to meet organizational staffing needs.
• Implement sustainability and risk management initiatives within the procurement function.
• Drive process improvements using procurement analytics and technology solutions to increase efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior procurement staff and internal stakeholders on best practices.

• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience across hardware, software, real estate, staffing, and facilities.
• Proven track record of negotiating favorable terms and driving significant cost savings.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage data to inform procurement decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards in India.
• Familiarity with e-procurement platforms, ERP systems, and digital workflow tools.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale real estate and facility projects.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Strong business acumen and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
