Job Description

Role Summary :

We are looking for a Software Engineer – Mobile Apps to design, build, and maintain high-quality React Native
mobile applications for iOS and Android. The role involves contributing across the full mobile software
development lifecycle and delivering performant, accessible, scalable, and reliable solutions using strong
engineering fundamentals and modern mobile development practices.
The ideal candidate takes ownership, maintains a quality-driven mindset, and continuously works toward
technical and product excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and
contribute to continuous improvement in an agile environment.
You will help break work into achievable increments, identify dependencies and risks, and remain accountable for
outcomes while aligning engineering delivery with product priorities and business goals.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills :
  • Mobile Application Development: Design, architect, build, and maintain mobile applications using React Native
  • for both iOS and Android.
  • Programming: Demonstrate strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and React Native.
  • End-to-End SDLC: Understand and contribute to the complete mobile software development lifecycle, from
  • requirements gathering through production release, including tools, strategies, guidelines, and CI/CD.
  • Performance & Scalability: Optimise applications for speed, scalability, stability, and native-like performance.
  • UI/UX Implementation: Work with product managers and designers to translate user experience and design
  • requirements into high-quality mobile interfaces.
  • Accessibility: Apply mobile accessibility principles, current patterns, and tools to create reliable and inclusive
  • functionality.
  • Integrations: Implement APIs and integrate third-party services as required.
  • Technical & Operational Excellence: Continuously improve code and delivery practices, pay attention to detail,
  • select appropriate tools, and support efficient system operation and monitoring.

  • Work Breakdown: Break work into well-sized tasks that support continuous integration and incremental delivery.
  • Dependency & Risk Management: Identify dependencies and risks and understand their impact on delivery.
  • Accountability: Take ownership of commitments and deliverables to help meet goals, targets, and deadlines.

Interview Expectations :
The interview process will assess your experience, technical depth, working practices, and approach to delivering
successful mobile applications.
Relevant experience and examples of successful work.
  • Experience building a mobile application from a blank project through app-store launch and ongoing support.
  • React Native knowledge, including architecture and development patterns, performance optimisation, and state
  • management.
  • Ways of working, collaboration, and problem-solving approach.
  • How you measure success, including the personal KPIs or outcomes you use to assess your performance.
