- As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be the leader and reference point for analytics resources such as reporting, visualization, and analysis within your area. You will possess a deep understanding of the business problems in your domain, viewing them through a customer-centric lens and utilizing data analytics to drive problem-solving. Collaboration with stakeholders to define problems, establish success metrics, and communicate data insights effectively will be a key aspect of your role.
You will autonomously manage senior stakeholders based on your experience and practical business understanding, seeking guidance from managers in complex situations. Prioritizing projects for maximum business impact, adapting efficiently to changing business needs, and managing stakeholder expectations will be central to your responsibilities. Your expertise will enable you to drive analysis and reporting independently within a broad scope, combining business knowledge with data proficiency to deliver actionable insights.
In the role of Senior Data Analyst within the Attractions Data Science and Analytics team in Amsterdam, you will collaborate closely with the Attractions Product team and broader DSnA team. From ideation to implementation, you will play a pivotal role in providing actionable data insights to guide product development decisions. A primary focus will be on revamping platform events reporting and developing comprehensive reporting suites to enhance the Customer Journey progression on the B.com / Attractions platform.
Your responsibilities will include defining strategies for impactful Data Analytics solutions, prioritizing business problems, translating them into data stories, and applying suitable analysis and visualization methods. You will utilize a range of tools to deliver insights that inform strategic decisions, engaging with stakeholders at various levels and maintaining effective communication. Sharing best practices, coaching peers, and contributing to the wider data community will be essential components of your role.
You will act as a force multiplier for your peers by providing guidance, mentoring, and setting a positive example. Collaborating across teams, exploring new Data Analytics approaches, and ensuring scalability and reproducibility in your work will be key priorities. Additionally, you will work towards enhancing the effectiveness of other data professionals, participating in community activities, and connecting your area of expertise with the broader business goals.

Your deep understanding of Booking's data ecosystem and its relation to your work, along with your subject-matter expertise in a specific area of Data Analytics, will position you as a go-to authority for senior business stakeholders. Through proactive collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning, you will drive impactful data-driven decisions and contribute significantly to the success of your team and the wider organization.
This is a contractual/temporary role with a duration of 6 months, requiring a total of 6 years of work experience. The work location is in person.,
