Job Description
- The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong skill set in Java 8/11, REST/HTTP microservices, gradle-based CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3/cloud front, elasti cache/Redis, OpenSearch, ECS, EC2, load balancing, ASGs, and CloudWatch. Knowledge of Kafka is also required for this position.
Additionally, experience with Microsoft M365 systems, MS Graph API, and Azure services is highly desirable. Proficiency in Python is a must-have skill for this role.
As a part of this role, you will be actively involved in the complete development lifecycle of our core cloud-based email product, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing the product. Collaboration with architects, engineers, and product managers to address complex challenges at a large scale will be a key aspect of this position.
Your responsibilities will include delivering AWS-based Java services through CI/CD and Infrastructure as code, contributing to reviews of new features, ensuring software quality through the creation of unit, system, and non-functional tests, and actively engaging in team collaboration and problem-solving.

Furthermore, you will be expected to stay updated with new technology trends, take initiatives, and demonstrate resourcefulness in designing new features or enhancements based on high-level architectures. Leadership qualities are essential for this role as you will lead backlog grooming, planning, design reviews, code reviews, and security reviews of designs and implementations.
Mentoring and coaching team members, improving team efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development are key aspects of this position. Your role will also involve applying technology trends and industry innovations to enhance our products and taking ownership to create accountability within the team.,
