Eligibility & Qualifications

• CA qualification is preferred; candidates with MBA (Finance), CWA, or CFA, along with B. Com. and strong accounting fundamentals, may also apply
• 10-15 years of experience, including 4-5 years in supervisory roles, with expertise in financial statement spreading, analysis, and interpretation within credit / investment research workflows, ideally in premier financial services firms
• Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP, with the ability to apply accounting standards in financial analysis and reporting scenarios
• Additional IFRS certification and proficiency in foreign languages (French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Chinese) are an added advantage

Role Requirements

Domain Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team delivering offshore financial spreading services to a global financial institution client
• Manage and deliver financial spreading assignments and ad-hoc stakeholder requests with clear prioritization
• Execute deliverables within compressed timelines, with flexibility to support extended hours as required
• Serve as a primary point of contact, interfacing with clients on a day-to-day basis for deliverables, project execution, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution
• Track, compile, and analyze production metrics; participate in SLA discussions with stakeholders
• Perform root-cause analysis of process errors and communicate corrective actions proactively
• Support internal audit requirements, including documentation and audit query responses
• Oversee team invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission

Team & People Management

• Lead, coach, and mentor team members to drive performance, capability building, and quality outcomes
• Ensure effective delegation and review mechanisms to maintain delivery quality standards
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and retention, with focus on continuity and backup planning
• Define and track performance goals, ensuring accountability and development
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and maintain stakeholder communication for seamless transitions
• Identify and drive process improvements, best practices, and productivity enhancements
• Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives to keep teams updated on domain and process changes
• Deliver structured training programs for new team members covering processes and domain skills
