Job Description

    As a Business Development Lead/Manager in Field Sales at CognoSpace, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team focused on expanding our presence in schools through cutting-edge experiential learning solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
    - Driving end-to-end B2B sales process, including lead generation, school visits, product demonstrations, negotiations, closures, and client onboarding
    - Identifying and segmenting schools (CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge) for targeted outreach
    - Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with school leaders to foster long-term partnerships
    - Collaborating with inside sales teams to convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities
    - Utilizing CRM for pipeline management, sales tracking, and reporting
    - Achieving sales targets by region and product line
    - Crafting tailored proposals based on school requirements, budgets, and academic objectives
    In addition, you will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize offerings and enhance the overall sales and marketing performance. This will involve:
    - Collaborating with product and content teams to align offerings with market and educational needs
    - Implementing feedback mechanisms from schools to enhance product experience and implementation
    - Designing and monitoring sales/marketing KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and drive performance improvements
    - Presenting regular reports to senior management with key insights and growth recommendations
    Qualifications required for this role include:

    - 2-5 years of experience in B2B institutional sales and marketing, preferably in the EdTech/STEM sector
    - Proven track record in field sales with a willingness to travel for school visits and events
    - Strong expertise in engaging school leadership and driving school-based sales
    - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    - Familiarity with CRM systems and digital marketing tools
    - Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment
