Job Purpose
Internal Audit of various Functions and Processes within CP India and compliance with SOX requirements.
Job Context & Challenges

• Participate in reviews and audits of various business processes, factories, warehouses, sales offices etc. to bring about process improvements and suggest better business practices.
• Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and process notes.
• Ensuring compliance with GRC Requirements and Periodically review SOD and critical access reports.
• Ensuring SOX compliance for CP India
• Takeup any simplification projects.

• Perform quarterly GL Analysis.
  

Functional Linkages

• Internal: Continuous since the concerned position requires to conduct audit of various functions/ processes within CP India as well as coordination with Internal Customers for SOX compliance.
• External: Interact with external Audit firms / consultants on any audit assignments (Occasionally).

Review and Preparation of audit Report
Prepare audit plan, conduct audit/review operations and collate audit findings and recommendations
SOX control –Design testing
Support in design testing of various SOX control process. Consolidation of daily testing of SOX control
RCA support
Review SOD violations and critical access, liaise with GRC team in CBS
Administrator-HSBC & BOA Bankrights
Addition/deletion of new users. Control of HSBC & BOA bank payment rights as per management approval.
Quarterly Certification
Compliance with SOX 302 certification and other related compliance.
Simplification projects
Support with implementation of simplification tools & preparation of process notes.
Experience

• Essential: Finance background in a reputed company
• Min 2 years of experience in internal auditing.
  

Professional Qualifications & Skills

• Essential: Chartered Accountant or equivalent post graduate qualification
