An international manufacturer of marine capital equipment is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales and business development across the Indian marine market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow sales of new marine equipment in the Indian market.
- Identify new business opportunities with shipowners, shipyards, ship management companies and other marine customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
- Manage the complete sales process from lead generation and technical discussions through to negotiation and order closure.
- Work closely with the company's international technical and commercial teams to develop solutions for customers.
- Monitor market developments, customer requirements and competitor activities.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions.
Your Profile:
- 5 - 10 years of sales/business development experience in the marine industry.

- Experience selling marine equipment, machinery or other capital equipment to the Indian marine market.
- Strong understanding of the Indian shipping and shipbuilding ecosystem.
- Good network among shipowners, ship managers, shipyards and marine industry stakeholders.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Good command of English.
