Director - Engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineering Director to lead engineering strategy, architecture, and delivery for scalable technology platforms. This role requires a strong combination of technical leadership, architectural vision, and team development, with experience managing high-performing engineering teams in product-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with business goals

• Drive development of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems

• Lead and mentor engineering managers, architects, and senior engineers

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery across engineering teams

• Collaborate with product and design leadership to build customer-focused roadmaps

• Establish engineering standards, code review processes, and quality frameworks

• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, microservices)

• Act as a technical advisor to company leadership

• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering

• 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles

• Strong expertise in scalable architecture and distributed systems

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and microservices architectures

• Proficiency in at least one language such as Java, Go, Python, or Node.js

• Experience leading AI-driven or AI-first engineering initiatives

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
