We are seeking a talented and analytical Analyst to join our team. As an Analyst, you will utilize your programming skills, including proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, web development, database management, and other analytics tools, to gather, analyze, and visualize data, providing valuable insights and recommendations. Your expertise in data analysis and your ability to work with various tools and technologies will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and other analytics tools to visualize data in a user-friendly and meaningful manner.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into actionable insights and visualizations.
Conduct data cleansing, transformation, and modeling to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Manage and maintain databases, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and optimization.
Utilize web development skills to create and enhance data-driven web applications and interfaces.
Apply statistical and analytical techniques to perform data analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.
Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in data analytics and visualization, and apply them to enhance data analysis capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business performance and process improvements.
Provide actionable recommendations and insights based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Communicate complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security, availability, and scalability of data and analytics solutions.
Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to facilitate knowledge sharing and replication of analysis.
Assist in training and upskilling team members in data analytics and visualization tools and techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and programming skills, including Power BI, Tableau, web development, and database management.
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction from databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets.
Experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for data visualization purposes.
Knowledge of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling techniques.
Solid understanding of databases and experience in data modeling and management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and visualization.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with emerging trends and tools in data analytics and visualization.
Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages is a plus.
Familiarity with data mining, machine learning, or artificial intelligence concepts is a plus.
