Job Title- Assistant Manager- Governance Assurance- IT and Control Testing

This role ensures effective governance and compliance with group policies and standards related to risk and compliance across all supplier partners. The focus is on identifying business risks, assessing IT controls, and providing expert advice to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage risk and compliance activities for Companys IT operations.


• Oversee internal and external audits related to risk and compliance.


• Conduct IT control testing and assurance to ensure proper operation.


• Assist in the delivery of offshoring plans from a risk and compliance perspective.


• Identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues to relevant teams.


• Ensure audit actions are completed and risks are managed effectively.



• Maintain updated risk profiles and ensure quality of findings and evidence.

Key Outputs:

• Ensure timely completion of risk and compliance activities.


• Conduct audits as per schedule and manage action points.


• Create and update the R&C framework in line with offshoring strategy.


• Deliver high-quality work that helps improve control environments and manage risk appetite.

Reporting & Relationships:

• Reports to Outsource Risk Transformation Lead.


• Works with internal teams like Business Units, UK ITS, and Risk & Compliance.


• Collaborates with external suppliers and consultants.

Qualifications:

  Get Hired
  Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS/IT/EC).


• Experience in IT Audit.


• Chartered Accountant preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

• IT Control Assurance and Testing


• Strong knowledge of IT Security Frameworks (like ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) /Standards & good practices (including Cloud Security)


• High level technical knowledge of risk management and audit techniques.


• Strong understanding of IT Governance Frameworks & regulatory requirements


• Requires Critical thinking to evaluate scenarios and making objective decisions.


• Relationship building skills.


• Persuasive and articulate, able to influence, negotiate and manage conflict at a senior level.


• Strong IT & report writing skills.


• Self-motivated and driven to achieve excellence with strong intellect
