Senior Manager / AVP — Embedded Finance & Strategic Partnerships
Function: Embedded Finance & Digital Lending | Reports to: Vice President — Embedded Finance & Strategic Partnerships |

What Youll Own
Partner & Enterprise Relationship Management

• Own day-to-day relationships with 3–5 enterprise partners across e-commerce, investment platforms, telecom,
  

and payment networks — the primary point of contact for commercial and operational issues.

• Support and independently lead select CXO-level partner conversations, contributing to bespoke commercial and
  

risk framework design for new and existing partnerships.

• Identify and evaluate inbound partnership opportunities, doing first-pass diligence on borrower risk profile and
  

business fit before escalating recommendations to the VP.
Credit, Risk & Product Co-design

• Work closely with Risk leadership on underwriting segmentation — tracking approval rate movements, credit
  

cost bands, and portfolio quality across partner cohorts.

• Own the analytics and reporting layer that tracks credit cost, approval rates, and disbursal performance against
  

target bands (e.g. the 1.8–2.2% credit cost range).

• Support design and rollout of product extensions such as top-up programmes, identifying incremental volume
  

opportunities within the existing book.
Business Performance & P&L Support

• Own monthly and quarterly MIS for the vertical — disbursals, revenue, CAC, and credit cost — and translate the
  

numbers into a clear performance narrative for leadership.

• Support the VP in preparing quarterly Board and credit committee presentations, including data consolidation,
  

trend analysis, and slide narrative.

• Track partner-wise and product-wise contribution margin, flagging deviations early.
  

Team & Cross-functional Leadership

• Directly manage 1–2 team members and coordinate a cross-functional squad spanning Credit, Product,
  

Technology, and Collections to keep partner deliverables on track.

• Act as the escalation point for operational issues raised by partners or internal stakeholders, resolving
  

independently where possible and escalating with context where not.
Market & Regulatory Awareness

  Stay current on embedded finance and co-lending regulatory developments (including RBI FLDG guidelines)
  

and flag implications for existing or prospective partnerships.

• Represent Credit Saison at industry forums and partner-facing events as needed.
  

What Were Looking For

• 5–8 years of experience in embedded finance, digital lending, fintech partnerships, or BFSI strategic alliances,
  

with direct exposure to consumer credit products (personal loans, credit lines, BNPL).

• Demonstrated experience owning partner relationships end-to-end, including some exposure to CXO-level or
  

senior stakeholder conversations.

• Working fluency in credit and risk concepts — approval rates, credit cost, portfolio quality — and comfort
  

partnering closely with Risk teams.

• Strong analytical and MIS skills; able to build and defend a performance narrative from raw numbers.
• Prior experience managing a small team or cross-functional squad, ideally in a matrix environment.
• Structured communicator, comfortable preparing content for senior leadership and Board-level audiences.
• Bachelors degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
