Maintenance Engineer - Mechatronics/ Electronics

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechatronics / Electronics Maintenance Engineer to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting automated systems, particularly those involving PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. This role is critical to ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• Configure, monitor, and update HMI interfaces for production lines.
  
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and automation systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  Get Hired
  Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance engineering within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HMI development and integration.
• Familiarity with industrial sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
