Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Motor Insurance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for strategic planning, process optimization, and overseeing various aspects of policy administration, claims management, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination. Your role will also involve driving technology integration, ensuring customer service excellence, cost and resource management, as well as business continuity and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient operational strategies aligned with underwriting, claims, and distribution goals.
- Continuously assess and improve turnaround time (TAT) for policy issuance, endorsements, and claims processing.
- Oversee end-to-end policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Supervise claims intake, processing, investigation, and settlement to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead and manage operations staff, including training, performance evaluation, and productivity monitoring.
- Drive automation and adoption of core insurance systems for improved efficiency.
- Monitor and improve customer service TATs and handle escalations and critical customer grievances.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets while optimizing resource utilization.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field.

- Proven experience in motor insurance operations, claims management, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of underwriting principles, policy administration, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing insurance technology systems for process optimization.
- Ability to analyze data, identify operational risks, and implement controls.
- Certification in risk management or business continuity planning would be a plus.,
