Job Overview:

CT Automotive is a global leader in designing and manufacturing interior components for the automotive industry, with manufacturing plants in Mexico, China, and Turkey. We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Product Design Engineer who can lead & responsible for design & development of Interior Trims commodities like Air vents, Glovebox, Armrest, Cup holder Considering Customer Requirements & Deliverables. He will be responsible for designing plastic trim components and systems, ensuring high quality and precision. This role requires an understanding of plastic materials, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop plastic trim products, ensuring they meet customer requirements along with standards and specifications

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and effective design solutions.

• Able to make Concept analysis (Master Sections) as well as feasibility studies and execute in product as per input details & requirements

• Able to handle customer meeting independently with proactive problem-solving approach

• Able to lead the team & handle product along with mentoring to teammates.

• Good knowledge of Tooling, Plastic mfg as well as plastic Post processes

• Good knowledge of RPS & Fixation, Tolerance stacks up, GD & T & ability to define & understand F & F requirement for product

• Competent in handling cad softwares Catia V5, NX (DMU simulation module will be an added advantage)

• Good Knowledge of DFMEA, DFM, MFA, DFA.

• Good Material knowledge & able to define materials based on Requirements & availability considering mfg location

• Able to create BOM, Grain Mapping, KC list independently

• Good Knowledge of CAE & CFD Virtual analysis validation as per Airvent technical requirements

• Able to work in Dynamic working environment to ensure product functionality

• Ensure overall “Product Design Performance” considering Customer specifications, regulations, and legislations.

• Able to create & maintain list of issues from complete phase of product design & development along with lesson learnt during project lifecycle

• Professional with Excellent communication skill with offshore team as well as with customer at different working location

• Ready to travel at different customer locations based on project requirements

• Needs to support project after TKO till SOP + 3months

• Translate defined product design performance criteria in CAD data & specifications.
